When I began my high school teaching career, I decided to add a component to my students grades called professionalism. I had some work experience before delving into the teaching world and because I was teaching engineering and technology topics, so they directly applicable to the workplace, I wanted my students to benefit from the advantage of acting in a manner that would benefit them in their careers.
